I ordered pickup. It's big inside and there are some tall tables for seating. The Tri tip was flavorful and a great texture. A little overcooked but still juicy. The au jus side was flavorful and necessary. The vegetables were a great texture and i loved the side roll which was flaky and warm. It came with butter. I ordered a side of fries. Shoestring are my favorite. I ate those with their bbq sauce which was tangy and sweet. I would eat here again and would love to try some of the other things on the menu.

First time was a charm! Ordered take out of a burger and some fries. Easy to order and wait was not long even with other people ordering to go. If you want to stay, there is a lot of indoor seating as well as a a few TVs if you have an event to watched. Good corner location which adds to the roominess of the restaurant. Excellent experience and will be back for more.

My family and I just love ordering from Buckhorn. A few times, my family and I have dined in and found the place so very inviting, well-lit and nicely decorated. The staff were very attentive and patient as you look at the board deciding what to order. And of course, the food is just great! There is enough food in an order that you have to take some home to have on your next meal. And priced reasonably for the amount of food you get. For a few times, my family and I have also tried delivery. And all the time, we have opted for the Family Feast. And from the name alone, it's an apt description of the amount of food you get - a feast! And for the price, I think it is so affordable! I have a family of four, and we do have a big appetite. But ordering the Family Feast has us leaving food for the next meal! Or food to pack for an office lunch the next day. You have to try this place out. Don't just take my word for it. It's highly recommended...

Stopped by saturday for lunch and had an enjoyable lunch. The restaurant is chill, dimly lit, not too loud. It is counter service which is great, I enjoy this business model. It makes going to lunch with a larger group easier. I had the 6oz Tri-tip buck and although it's pretty plain it was enjoyable. I wish I would have seen the bar with all the different types of sauces before I finished eating. haha. Service was fast, food was good and hot, place was clean. Will definitely be back.

The BBQ is stellar; if you're going for the meats, you're in the right place. Pros: Good-size menu with plenty of options. Fabulous tri-tip, cooked exactly how you like it. The best giant pretzel I've ever had: piping hot, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with three delicious dipping sauces-beer cheese and two yummy mustards. Fresh Caesar salad with tasty dressing. Phenomenal colossal chocolate cake; it was truly colossal. Fun ambiance with 80's tunes. Food arrived quickly. Con's: The service was meh; not very pleasant. The side of vegetables on the tri-tip platter were sparse. The Tri-tip sandwich had too much bun. The whole restaurant was uncomfortably warm at around 80 degrees on a hot day (97 degrees). Appetizer pretzel arrived long after our entrees. Sure, we'll go back for the tri-tip.

Spent a few days in Sacramento this past month visiting Mark H's sister and we stopped for lunch here. All three of us thought it was really good. We all ordered the Bacon cheddar burger and first thing I'll mention is this thing is filling. It's a pretty big burger, very tasty and cooked to a juicy medium just as I ordered. I got mine with onion rings which were good as well (and of course I shoved some rings into my burger.) You order at the counter and they bring your order out to your table when it's ready. They also have a condiment bar for various bbq sauces, ketchup, etc. the inside was also large and open with a lot of seating. They have quite a few locations around NorCal so I wouldn't hesitate to eat at one of them when I'm traveling again.
